Age Is a Number: What I Have Learnt After 70s “Age is a number, but the spirit with which we live determines how young we really are.” After crossing the age of 70, I have begun to look at life differently. When we are young, we often believe that success means having a good job, earning money, achieving a high position, owning property and gaining recognition. But with advancing age, our priorities gradually change. Today, I believe that peace of mind, good health, friendship, social activity, kindness and the ability to help others are among life's greatest achievements. I have learnt many lessons after entering my seventies. Some came from books and newspapers, some from people around me, and many came from my own experiences.
