  Why People are Panic for My Rottweiler - Roxy Introduction I have a dog named Roxy, a Rottweiler by breed. I bred it when it was one month old. My son bought it from Dehradun on 16 August 2019. He trained it as per his knowledge and skill.  It was very small in size and cute in looking. Introduction:

Bugyals are high-altitude alpine meadows found in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Specifically, in the  Chamoli district, two of the most well-known Bugyals are:

1- Auli Bugyal

2- Bedni Bugyal

These meadows are characterized by their lush green grasslands, stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, and rich biodiversity.These bugyals are not only popular among tourists and trekkers but are also significant for their ecological value. They support a variety of flora and fauna and play a crucial role in the local ecosystem. The trek leads via Gorson Bugyal only 6 km distance from Auli Bugyal, but the way from Joshimath, Base camp leds to Gorson and Auli.It is located at an altitude of 3056 meters above sea level.Auli is a skiing destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountain of Uttarakhand.The neighbouring bugyals of Auli are  Kalpnath Bugyal, Gurson bugyal, Sathopanth bugyal, Laxmivan bugyal,Ghastoli bugyal,Ratakon bugyal, Chaufit bugyal.

The journey to Auli Bugyal is not merely a physical trek but also a spiritual exploration through some of India's most breathtaking landscapes.

How to trek Auli Bugyal: Overview:

1- Base camp/ Starting Point: Joshimath

  • Altitude: 1875 meters
  •  Distance from Auli: 16km, by road, 6 km by trek
Joshimath, a major hub for pilgrims and trekkers, serves as the gateway to Auli Bugyal. The town is well- connected  by road and serves as the base camp for various treks in the region. Before starting on the trek, it's necessary to spend a day or two to acclimatize and exploring local attractions such as Narshimha Temple and the Shankaracharya Math.

2- Joshimath to Gorson Bugyal:

  • Altitude: 3056 meters
  • Distance: 4 km.
The trek from Joshinath to Gorson Bugyal is a moderate climb through dense forests of oak, deodar, and coniferous trees. The monsoon season (July to August) brings lush greenery, but it's essential to be cautious of slippery trails and landslides. Winter (December to February), is perfect for skiing, but trekking can be challenging due to heavy snow fall. 

Preparations for the Trekking with Essentials:

  • while the trek to Auli Bugyal is considered moderate, it's essential to be in good physical condition. Regular morning walk, jogging, breathing exercise, cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stamina- gaining activities are recommended at least for three months before the trek.
2- Packing materials:

  • Clothing: Layered clothing to accommodate varying temperature, including thermal wear, waterproof fleece jackets, and comfortable trekking lowers.
  • Footwear: Sturdy trekking boots with good grip and ankle support
