  Why People are Panic for My Rottweiler - Roxy Introduction I have a dog named Roxy, a Rottweiler by breed. I bred it when it was one month old. My son bought it from Dehradun on 16 August 2019. He trained it as per his knowledge and skill.  It was very small in size and cute in looking. How to Reach Dayara Bugyal

By Air:

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 200 km from Uttarkashi. From the airport, you can hire a taxi to reach Barsu, the Base Camp village for the Dayara Bugyal Trek.The other small village is also  preferred which name is Raithal at 3 km trek from Barsu.

By Train:

The nearest railway station is Dehdradun, located approximately 190 km from Dehradun, you can take a taxi or bus to reach Barsu village, the Base Camp.

By :Road

Uttarkashi is well connected by road to major cities like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Kathgodam and Bageshwar. From Uttarkashi, you can hire a taxi to reach Barsu, the Base Camp.

The trek to Dayara Bugyal Literally starts from Barsu, a picturesque village located at an altitude of 7,545 feet. The entire trek covers a distance of approximately 20 km and can be completed in 4-5 days, depending on your pace, stamina and weather conditions. The Time Table as follows:

Day-1: Barsu to Barnala Tal

The first day of the trek involves a gradual ascent from Barsu to Barnala Tal, a beautiful high-altitude lake. The trail passes through dense oak, and rhododendron forests, offering occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks. The campsite at Barnala Tal is a perfect spot to rest and acclimatize.

Day-2: Barnal Tal to Dayara Bugyal

The second day involves trekking from Barnala Tal to Dayara Bugyal. The trail opens up to vast grasslands and the views become more expansive as you gain altitude. Upon reaching Dayara Bugyal, you will be greeted by a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

After a overnight stay at Barsu  again, the road journey repeats the same route to next station, as per your scheduled programme to your homes.

There are no permanent accommodations at Dayara Bugyal, so, you  need to camp, Barsu and Uttarkashi have a few guesthouses, home stays, and hotels where you can stay before and after the trek. It's essential to carry your camping gear, including tents, sleeping bags, and cooking equipment. You should also carry enough food supplies for the entire trek, as there are no food options available en route.
