THE PARTNERSHIP OF ANUJ and KARTIK in IPL 2024
Opening match of IPL 2024 was played between Chennai Super King and Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium on 22 March. The partnership of Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Kartik of 95 runs gave a life saving dose to RCB. Both the players Anuj Rawat scored 48 runs while Dinesh 38 in 57 balls. It raised the score and Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 173 runs against Chennai Super King. It was a good challenge to CSK.
Mistafizur Rahman Bagged 4 Wickets
In the opening match of 17th IPL the top series of batsmen could not play with high spirit. In the beginning Mistafizur Rahman taking 4 wickets giving only 29 runs stopped the speed of RCB and the score stands at 78 runs for 5 wickets. Really it was a poor score against CSK. But Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Kartik holded the team Anuj was run out at the last ball of the innings. He scored 48 in 25 balls with 3 sixers and 4 boundaries while Dinesh Kartik scored 38 in 26 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixers.Du Fleisis scored 35 runs in 23 balls. Dhoni caught the last ball and made the player Patidar out without scoring a run.

Fos Du Pleisis,the captain of RCB decided batting first, RCB scored 7 runs in first over while the first ball of Deepak Chahar happened to be wide. Fof hit 2 boundaries in second over of Tushar. In the third over of Chahar, the spinner the captain of RCB hit 4 fours.In this way RCB had scored 33 runs in 3 overs. Mistafizur Rahman, the left handed bowler of Bangaladesh made Du Plasis out in his third ball of first over giving a catch to Rachin Ravindra at deep point. Fof Du Pleisis played an innings of 35 runs in 23 balls with 8 boundaries.
RCB Lost Five Wickets at the Score of 78 Runs
RCB, once scoring fast, lost 3 wickets at the interval of 2 runs.. Chahar made Maxwel out without opening an account giving a catch behind the wickets. The standing score of 41 runs without loosing any wicket turned into 42 at 3 wickets. RCB scored only 42 runs at 3 wickets in the first six overs of power play. Virat Kohali (21) out by Mistafizur Rahman. The Bangladeshi bowler again made out Camron Green at 18 and he took 2 wickets in one over.Thus, RCB had lost 5 wickets at the score of 78 runs. Chennai beat RCB by 6 wickets scoring 176 by 4 wickets.CSK won by 6 wickets ,8 balls left.
