Sun Risers Hydrabad achieved the highest IPL total of 277/3 against Mumbai Indians making a new record in IPL history by now. Hydrabad beat MI by 31 runs in 8th match on March 27. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hydrabad.

Devis Head scored first FIFTY in 18 balls in the starting and followed Abhishekh Sharma FIFTY in 16 balls and again Heinrich Klaasen FIFTY in 23 balls, all this happened in one match played on 27th March, Wednesdayin Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Hydrabad. Thus, with the efforts of these players Hydrabad achieved the highest score against Mumbai Indians in the history of I.P.L. In this match, Head scored 62 in 24 balls, Abhisekh 63 in 23 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen 80 runs, not out,in 34 balls with 4 boundaries and 7 sixers reached the score at 277, the highest in IPL. This is the third highest score in the history of T-20.
Head's Dream Like Start
Hardik Pandya, the Captain of Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted bowling but Travish Head failed the strategy of M.I. He hit 2 boundaries and 2 sixers at the balls of fast bowler of South Africa, Kwena Maphaka, the first entry in IPL disappointing him. The length of the second six was 98 m. total runs in that over came 22 runs.Travish Head had a narrow escape when Tim David left the catch at Hardik's ball in earlier over. Head was at the score of 5 runs only, then. Though, Hardik Pandya took the first wicket of Mayank Agrawal for M.I.

Travish Head scored 50 runs in 18 balls. Hydrabad made 81 runs at 1 wicket in Power Play at the average rate of 13+. out of that, Head contributed 58 runs in 20 balls with 9 boundaries and 3 sixers. IN one of that overs of Gerald Coetzee, came off 23 runs. Mumbai was not out of the trap after the Power Play.Abhisekh Sharma hit 3 sixers at Piyush Chawla's 7th over and reached Hydrabad more than 100. Head and Abhishekh completed the partnership of 50 runs in 17 balls only. Hydrabad was at 102 runs in 42 balls. Later Eden Markaram and Heinrich Klaasen added 116runs for the fourth wicket in 55 balls. Thus, Hydrabad made the raining of runs in IPL24 and made the match challenging as well as interesting.
