Sam curran scored 63 runs in 47 balls and Punjab Kings beat Delhi by four wickets in IPL 2024 second match. Punjab Kings won the toss and asked Delhi Capitals for batting first. Delhi Capitals made 174 runs in 9 wickets in 20 overs, while Punjab scored 177 runs in 19.2 overs by 4 wickets. Punjab Kings scored 34 runs in 3 overs. Ishant bold Shikhar Dhawan in fourth over at his score 22. Bairesto hit 2 fours in 3 balls, unluckily run out  Prabhsimran scoring 26 runs, hit 2 boundariesat Khalil's bowling and over came from pressure but happened catch out at Kuldeep's Gugali ball.Kuldeep  stumped Jitesh at his score (09)Thus, the score of Punjab Kings was only 100 at 4 wickets in 12th 0ver.  Sam curan and Livingstone partnership of 67 runs paved a way to Victory.

Rishav Pant came back 453 days

Rishav Pant, the captain of Delhi Capitals  returned after 453 days in the field. However, he scored only 18 runs. Sam Currain scoring (63 run, 47 balls) with 6 boundaries and 1 sixer in the company of Livingstone at another end. Liyam Livingstone remained not out at 38 run and hit a sixer at Sumit's ball ,brought wining 4 balls at hand. Rishav Pant was injured in a road accident on December 22,played his first match and scored18 runs in 13 balls with2 boundaries.Warner (29), March (20), Hope (33) and Akshar (21), could not pla a big innings. Impact player, Abhishek Porrel scored 32 runs in 10 balls and Delhi got a challenging score after all.
