  Why People are Panic for My Rottweiler - Roxy Introduction I have a dog named Roxy, a Rottweiler by breed. I bred it when it was one month old. My son bought it from Dehradun on 16 August 2019. He trained it as per his knowledge and skill.  It was very small in size and cute in looking. So, every member of the family would take it in his/her lap while it preferred running on the floor and biting the wooden sofa. It growled when objected.  Nurturing a Healthy Temperament in Your Rottweiler

The pets are common in peoples houses from ages. The varieties of dogs differ places to places as per the choices of the owner. Globally, the climate favour to nourish the particular types of dogs in particular place for natural growth. The main varieties of dogs are Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever,eagle, Rottweiler, French Bulldog, Bulldog, Poodle, Beagle, Yorkie, Boxer, Dachshund, Siberian Husky, Great Dane, Cacker Spaniel, about training programme order Collie, Dalmatian, Saint Bernard, Australian Shepherd. But most people like to pet Rottweiler to guard their houses. Rottweilers are quite a facinating breed! They often get a bad rap due to their fearful appearance, but they are incredibly loyal, intelligent, and affectionate dogs when raised and trained well.

1-Early Socialization:

Always do remember about the training programe of puppies to change the behaviour in domestic favour. Expose them to various people, places, and situations. This helps them become well-adjusted and less likely to develop fearor aggression issues. The perception in common people in society is dangerous and aggressive by default.

2-Positive Reinforcement Training:

Trained Rottweilers are loyal to their families They form strong bonds and are very protective of their loned ones. Always use positive reinforcement techniques, such as playin with the puppies with toys, throwing balls, hiding toys, hide and seek, giving them praise and rewards. Rottweilers respond well to positive reinforcement, and it helps build a strong bond between you and your dogs.

3-Regular Exercise:

Rottweilers are robust, powerful dogs with impressive strength and stamina making them great working dogs. Rottweilers are a high- energy breed and require regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. A tired dog is generally a well behaved dog. Ensure they get daily walks, playing and opportunities to burn off excess energy.

4-Consistent training:

Do remember! be consistent in your training methods and results required Rottweilers are intelligent and need clear boundaries. Rottweilers respond well and consistency helps them understand what is expected of them and reinforces good behaviour.

5-Regular Veterinary Care:

The pets are considered as family members. They expect love and affection from the family members. They get disappointed if ignored. Ensure your Rottweiler receives regular veterinary check-ups. Physical health can impact temperament, and early detection of any health issues can prevent behavioural problems.

6-Obedience Training:

Try to take the advice of dog trainers. They are expert in their profession and know where the shoe pinches. So engage your Rottweiler in basic obedience training classes. This not only provides them with essential skills bot also reinforces your role as the pack leader. Consistent Training sessions at home are also interesting and result oriented.

7-Provide Mental Stimulation:

Rottweilers are highly intelligent and learners. They always try to please their masters by their activities. This trait, coupled with their eagerness to please their owners, makes them relatively easy to train. Rottweilers are intelligent dogs that need mental stimulation. Provide them with puzzle toys, interactive games, and tasks that could challenge their minds. This can prevent  boredom- related issues.

8-Establish Leadership:

Rottweilers are strong and confident dogs that give good response. Establish  yourself as a peer leader through regular training programmes and gentle guidance. Harsh punishment or Physical corrections can harm the bond between you and your Rottweiler and may lead to fear or aggression.

9-Supervision With Children and Other Pets:

Always, try to bring the company of other pets in the puppy age. They consider them their friends. This helps prevent aggressive behaviour towards other pets. Always supervise intractions and intervene if needed. Proper supersion can prevent accidents and help reinforce positive behaviour.

Create a Safe and Comfortable Environment:

Any pet in the family should be trated as friends. Provide a safe and comfortable living environment for your Rottweiler. A secure, comfortable living space with access to food, water, and comfortable bed will contribute to a positive temperament. This could keep the moral of the dog high.

We should note that every dog is an individual, and while Rottweilers have certain breed characteristics, each one may have its own temperament. Tailor your training and care to suit your dog's personality and needs.Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are key elements in nurturing a healthy temperament in any dog, including Rottweilers.
