England hopes place for semi final as the Opening bats men Jos Butler scored 73 and Alex Hells 52 made England winner beating Newzi land by20 run in World Cup, Super 12, T-20 in Brisels.In group 1, the consequence teams are now in competition for semi final as 3 teams (Newzi land, England, and Australia) have equal points.
Newzi land chasing the score 180 of England could make 159 run in 6 wicket. Glen Philips's 62 run could not get win to Newzi land. Ken Williamson added 40 run. Jos Butler became the highest scorer from England making 73 run in 47 ball including 7 fours and 2 sixer. He left Eon Morgan behind in T-20.
The beginning of Newzi land was poor losing the opening wicket Devon Convey (o3) and Fin Alen (16) at the score of 28 in fifth over. Wicket keeper Jos Butler lept at the grand catch of Convey. Philips who made a century against Sri lanka made half century and added 91 run in partnership with Williamson.

Sri lanka beat Afghanistan by 6 wicket, it made Afghanistan out from Super 12 in World Cop T-20. Afghanistan is at the bottom line with only 2 points and now out from the Semi Final Race. Sri lanka has already 4 points in 4 matches and it raised to 6 points in total now still hope for Semi Final Race. Sri lanka shocked at the fall of first wicket of Pathum Nissanka (10), as Mujib bold him out in second over. After that, Farukhi throwing maiden wicket made a pressure over Sri lankan team. Kusal Mendis hit 2 fours in the next over but Rasid Khan sent Mendis to Pavilion in his first over. Dhananjay hit fours and sixes and kept the run rate in his favour. Dhananjay added 54 run with Charit (19) and 42 with Bhanuka (18).
