The last winner Australia beat Sri lanka by 7 wickets. Australia  lost her match in first clash with Newzi land. Chaging the Sri lanka score 158, the australian Man of te Match Marcus Stoinis scored 59 runs in 18 balls and made Australia winner in world cup t-20 game. Stoinis in partnership with captain Eron Fitch added 69 runs. Stoinis  hit 6 sixes in 10 balls. In the beginning, Australia was in trouble losing its 3 wickets at the score of 89 runs, after 13 over From this point Stoinis taking the aim with captain flinch turned the match in his favour.

An unbeaten 59-run knock off just18 balls by Marcus Stoinis, guided Australia to a seven wicket win over Sri Lanka in match no 07, on the ongoing     T20 World Cup,at Perth stadium on  October 25. Captain Finch won the toss andinvited Sri Lanka to bating Charit Aslanka and Chamika Karunaratne  for 7th wicket scored 37 run in partnership in 15 balls andfetched the scre 157 by 6 wickets. Aslanka 38 run in 25 balls and Karunaratne 14 runs in 7 balls remained not out. Once it seemed Sri Lanka not to reach by 150 while in 18th over it made only 120 run. Pathum Nishanka 40run in 45 balls,Dhananjay Da Silva scored 26 runs in 23 balls. Australia gave 23 extra runs.
