SYLLABUS FOR NURSERY CLASSES - HIDE AND SEEK
In every country of the world, the school going age for children is reduced from 5 years to 2-3 years. In the beginning of the school system, it was no age bar or scale for beginners. The children staying with their parents whole day, spent their time with fun and enjoyment. The parents gave them an opportunity to learn the basic skills, languages, and numericals skills through the events, incidents and accidents they saw or experienced with their own eyes. The surroundings, homely atmosphere, friends, cattle, pet animals, fields, occupation and family members, were their the apretus of their learning laboratory at home up to 5 years. The parents were their guides. It is the natural concept of learning acknowledged by all in the world.
THE CONCEPT OF SCHOOLING
In this competitive world, The schooling is also targeted globally and the babies are the most sufferers. Now the parents show their talent to register the name and seat for their baby in a reputed school for admission in Nursery classes or Play group. The schools have divided the pre primary schooling in different names,( i.e. Play Group, Nursery, L.K.G. U.K.G.) and categories highlighting to enhance the personality development by school activities and atmosphere. But they ensure no guaranty of results after 13 years.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE SYLABUS FOR BEGGINERS
It's a big challenge to ensure guaranty for the best syllabus for beginners in play group or nursery classes. The answer is Atmosphere, Activities, and Gamification. Schools have changed itself into industries, so they leave no stone unturned to attract the parents. This is why the schools are already packed and rise the fee model upgrading their standard in society.
The main point is what to teach or learn the beginners in schools for their forth coming empowerment in every walk of life. It is foundation, which gives strength to life. WHAT IS HIDE AND SEEK (Gamification)
Luka Chhipi is named as 'HIDE and SEEK', it is very interesting game which is played in every country of the world. This game is introduced for the first time by a Greec writer Julius Polax in one of his books. He named it 'Apodidraiskenda' mostly liked by children at home an school. All the children love and like it. It is named 'El-Escandyte in Spain,Jewday, Cash-Cash, in France, Muchboim in Israel, D-Av-Etieskucelia in Romania. In Greek, it is named after 'Crypto.' In India, it is known as "Luka Chhipi."
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
There is no hard and fast rule relating to the number of players fixed for this game. The big number make the game interesting much. But at least two players are mandatory. It requires a large area with some hurdles, lay outs, walls, ruins, trees, huts, ups-downs and other obstacles in surroundings for starting this game, where one could not be searched out easily. All the children feel happy, joy and gayous filled with endeavour. Today they will use their skill and talent. These short of activities attract the children to schools and they spontaneously get ready for schools in the morning daily in a good mood with cheerful faces.How comforts the parents feel!
HOW TO START 'HIDE AND SEEK'
Before starting this game, one candidate closing one's eyes counts the numbers and all the other boys and girls scatter in different sides to hide them. Again the Seeker is asked to search the others. He opens his eyes announces in a loud voice, Are you ready or not? I'm coming to search you out and runs in different directions to find the hiders. He applies his talent and runs to the particular site to find out the hiders, speaking the name loudly if finds out gets them out ,one by one and the last is the winner and the first finder starts the game next and the same procedure goes on and on. How interesting it is! This is the syllabus for Play group and Nursery for beginners in schools.
THE SECOND DRAFT OF THE GAME
In some places, the finders help the seeker to search out the others and scatter in different directions. The game continues till the last child is find out. In this draft, the time limit is lessened and the second one gets the chance to become a seeker again. More the seekers, the less chance to remain hide for long.
THE THIRD FORM OF THE GAME
In other places, it is also played in another draft, as the hider is only one and seekers are in remaining numbers. This sort of game is named after 'Sardines.' So, in the same procedure in the beginning, all close eyes and ask crying, 'Ready?' At the positive response,'Yes', they all run to different directions to find out the hider. This procedure continues till the time allows.
PHOTO-PHOTO / HIDE & SEEK
The another form of this game is named, Photo-Photo in which, two teams of equal numbers is formed in the beginning as Hiders and Seekers. Again, the same procedure is followed and the winner and looser is decided. This type of game with a team started first in Greek.
HIDE &SEEK IN RUSSIA AND BRAZIL
In Russia and Brazil, hide and seek has a little improvised method. It is played in two equal teams, Hiders and Seekers but when the child is find out by seeker, the two, hider and seeker both run to the starting point and the child who touches the starting line first is winner and gets points.
ICE-PICE / CHHUPAN-CHHUPAI, IN INDIA
In India, it is known as Ice-Pice or Chhupan-Chhupai, when played in team, naming hiders and seekers.This takes a long time to find out the last hider. Some times, if the last hider is not found, the Seeker team surrenders and the child is taken as 'Hero' of the Match and the team is taken as winner.
HIDE&SEEK IN INTERNET / VIDEO-GAME
Hide &Seek crowns among all other games of children. The world wide popularity of this game has made its reach in Video games. Prop-Hunt is its crypto form, and played in the same concept. In short, it it is said that Hide and Seek plays an important role when physically played in schools by beginners. They love the game and love the school for ever in life.
