INTRODUCTION: I usually write MY DIARY PAGES containing social issues, morning walk experience, environment, internet business and political news. But, today I write on the current issue UTTARPRADESH M. L.A. ELECTION 2022. In 5 states of India, the legislative Assembly are in progress. The notification is already declared. The political parties are going door to door for connivance as election commission of India has given instructions and guidelines for election 2022. The parties can't arrange gathering in public places for connivance. So, the mood of election is very interesting now in Uttar Pradesh. The political parties are declaring the list of candidates slowly-slowly calculating the chemistry of politics. It is in fuss these days which party is going to form government in this election and who crowns on the seat of Chief Minister. |

ELECTION NOTIFICATION AND GUIDELINES
On January 8, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the dates for the Vidhan Sabha elections in 5 states namely,Uttara Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Maipur.While briefing the media, Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra informed that the elections in the poll-bound states will commence from February10,2022 to March 7, 2022.
Elections in the State of Uttar Pradesh will be conducted in 7 phases, followed by Manipur with 2 phases. Elections in Goa, Uttarakhand and Punjab will be conducted in a single phase. According to the Election Commission of India,the votes will be counted on March 10, 2022. ECI informed that all physical campaigning will be ceased untill January 22, 2022, in light of the rising cases of corona virus.  |

THE MOOD OF THE PUBLIC / OPINION POLL
The public of U.P. is getting prediction by Opinion poll of different T.V. channels.Some predictions are in favour of BJP while some are in favour of S.P. The congress party and B.S.P. is not in the fight. So the people stick to their T.V, set these days. The conclusion of the opinion poll is as under:
*Jan Ki Baat opinion poll is in favour of B.J.P. It announces Adityanath Yogi as Chief Minister of U.P. showing him 56% favour.
*As per the findings, the B.J.P. is set to achieve an estimated 39-40% of the total votes and between 226to 246 seats in an Assembly of 403.
*Opinion poll survey suggests that The Samajwadi Party (SP) will be the runners-up with 144-160 seats and a vote share of 34%-36%.
*It also estimates that BJP will win 50 out of 86 seats reserved for the Scheduled Castes (SCs), followed by Samajwadi Party (32 seats) and BSP (4 seats).
*About 56% of the participants want to see Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav32%, Mayawati 9% and Priyanka Gandhi 2%. |

Region-wise vote prediction in Uttar Pradesh:
Western Uttar PradeshThe Western Uttar Pradesh region may witness a neck and neck fight between the BJP and SP. While BJP+ may win 33-37 seats out of the total 71 seats, SP+ is also likely to bag 33-37 seats. BSP, on the other hand, may get 2-4 seats. Congress, however, is unlikely to open its account in this region. Central Uttar PradeshAround 47-49 seats may go to BJP+ in Central Uttar Pradesh, while SP+ is likely to win 16-20 seats. BSP may not open its account in this region and Congress is likely to win 1-2 seats. RUHELKHAND REGION In this region, BJP+ may bag 19-21 seats and SP+ is likely to get 3-7. BSP and Congress may not get any seats. AwadhThe Awadh region may witness BJP+ getting 76-82 seats. SP+, on the other hand, is likely to win 34-38 and Congress 1-3. Mayawati's BSP may not get any seats. BundelkhandThe BJP+ is expected to get the majority of the seats in this region as well. While the saffron party may bag 17-19 seats, SP+ may get 0-1. BSP and Congress may not open their accounts. PurvanchalIn the Purvanchal region, BJP+ is likely to secure 53-59 seats and SP+ may bag 39-45. BSP may win 2-5 seats and Congress is expected to get 1-2 seats. How many total seats may BJP and SP win?
The opinion poll shows that the BJP+ is likely to get between 245-267 seats and SP+ may bag 125-148 seats. Mayawati's BSP may win somewhere between 5-9 seats and Congress is likely to settle with just 3-7 seats. Others may get 2-6 seats. CONCLUSION: In short, it might be that BJP would form the next state government in Uttar Pradesh with Adityanath Yogi as Chief Minister, In this election it is predicted, BJP gets 41% vote share, getting 1% benefit comparatively to 2017 election. SP is expected 34% vote share with 12% benefit to last 2017 election.But BSP got 23% vote share in 2017 election,and losing 12%vote share at11%. Congress is constant at 6% without any loss or benefit. But the actual result would display on 10th March 2022.
